Widgets provides you a quick view of information and perform small actions without having to open the app as well. Your widgets will appear above the quick action list when you apply pressure to an app icon on the Home screen using 3D Touch.
How to access your widgets
You can access widgets from anywhere, whether you’re on the home screen, in an app, or on the lock screen, simply you just need to swipe down from the top of your screen and accessing the notification center.
Here is how you access widgets from Notification Center.
1.Open the notification center by Pulling down from the top of the screen on your iPhone or iPad
2.Swipe to the right over the Home Screen, Lock Screen to access your widgets
How to add or disable widgets from the App Store
Besides some built-in options from Apple, you can also add widgets from third-party developers. There are actually a couple of ways to do this.
1.Swipe right over the Home screen or Lock screen or swipe down the Notification Center.
2.Scroll down to the bottom of your widget list and tap Edit
3.If you want to add the widget, tap the green + button and next tap Done. Otherwise, to remove widget tap the red – button, and next tap Remove.
How to rearrange widgets
When you add a new widget, you can position it how you’d like.
1. Swipe to the right on your Home or Lock screen to view your widgets.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of your widget list and tap Edit
3. Next, tap and hold the three lines to the right of the widget you’d like to rearrange.
4. Finally, drag the widget up or down.
