Step one: First off, you need to launch Control Center on your iPhone. To do this, you simply need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen
Step two: From the Control Center menu that shows up, tap AirDrop and then select your option. If you select Contacts Only, you will enable only your contacts to AirDrop you. If you select Everyone, you will enable everyone to AirDrop you.
How to share files between devices with AirDrop
Once you have enabled AirDrop, you now can easily move files between Apple devices using AirDrop. If you need help, make sure that you check out the steps below.
Step one: Open an app that has the content you wish to share using AirDrop (make sure that your app supports AirDrop)
Step two: Once you are in, select the content you want to share (you can share multiple files at once using AirDrop), hit the Share button at the bottom
Step three: You will then see a preview of the content you are about to share with AirDrop at the top. From the popup menu that shows up from the bottom of the screen, select the person and device you want to share your files to
Step four: Once you are done, the recipient will get a popup window asking if he wants to accept the transfer. Hit Accept and the file will be opened in the appropriate app on the recipient’s device. (if you are sharing files between two devices you own, make sure that you are using the same Apple ID on both devices).
That’s it! If you cannot share files with your friends using AirDrop, make sure that you have already turned on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and both devices are in close proximity of each other.
