Here is how you can create contact groups on your iPhone

If you are looking for a way to create contact groups on your iPhone, stop looking around because you have come to the right place. In reality, iOS does not let you create or delete contact groups on your device. However, you can make that happen thanks to the help of iTunes and iCloud accounts. It sounds complicated, but you can easily create contact groups to access some of your favorite numbers on your iPhone.

In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to create contact groups on your iPhone. Before we get started, make sure that you have a computer by your side with iTunes installed on it. Assuming that you have met the above-mentioned requirements, let’s proceed with our step-by-step guide.

Steps to create contact groups on your iPhone

Step one: The first thing you need to do now is to connect your device to iTunes and sync your data in case if something goes wrong during the process

Step two: Once you are done, you need to open iCloud on your computer and sign in using your Apple ID and select Contacts to proceed. You will find all your previous contacts you have synced here in your iCloud

Step three: When it is done, all you need to do is to click on Plus symbol located at the bottom of the Show Actions Menu and the list of your contacts

Step four: You are now supposed to enter a name for your group. If you want to change the name, you simply need to perform a double-click on it

Step five: Once you are done, head to All Contacts and search contacts you wish to add to your newly created contact group. You can drag and drop your favorite contacts into the group

Step six: Once you have successfully added contacts to the group, you simply need to launch the Phone app. After that, tap on Contacts and tap on Groups button at the top-left corner of the screen

Step seven: You will see names of contact groups you have created under the iCloud section.
