iOS allows you to easily create text shortcuts for fast replying on your iPhone and iPad. This is one of my favorite features, as it lets me quickly type out a short message, which is sent to my friends and families, while making sure that my work is still on track. The process for creating and using text shortcuts on your iPhone and iPad is not complicated, but it may be a little confusing.

Step one: First off, you are supposed to launch the Settings app from your home screen. Scroll down a little bit and tap General to proceed
Step two: Next up, you now need to tap on Keyboard and then tap on Text Replacement
Step three: Once you are in, all you have to do is to tap on the + button located at the top right corner of the screen
Step four: You are now supposed to type in the phrase you wish to use and enter the shortcut for it. Once you are satisfied, you simply need to tap on the Save button to apply the change.

Once you have successfully created your own text shortcuts, the next step is how you can use them on your iPhone and iPad. Here is how you can do that.
Step one: First off, you need to launch any app that support the QuickType keyboard. We are going to take the Messages app as an example
Step two: Once you open the Messages app from your home screen, you now need to type the shortcut you created earlier and you will notice that there is a corresponding phrase in the predictive bar
Step three: Tap on the corresponding phrase and send your message as you always do
If you change your mind, you can easily remove your text shortcuts. To do this, you can head to Settings, tap on General > Keyboard > Keyboard Replacement > Edit. Once you are done, tap on the red button to the left of the shortcut and select Delete.
