Apple Watch is one of the best smartwatches on the market. Apple has been improving its Watch lineup since release, adding new features while revamping its design. Last year, the fourth generation Apple Watch made its debut at Apple’s September event and received a wide welcome. Apple Watch 4 comes with tons of new things ranging from a bigger screen and improved Digital Crown to ECG and fall detection. Sources say that Apple has shipped more than 10 million Apple Watch units so far on the market. The Cupertino firm is expecting to sell more Apple Watch units in 2019.
Apple Watch 4 works with a wide range of products and services on the market. Pandora recently confirmed that its Apple Watch app now includes offline playback feature. This is something that has been demanded for months. The feature allows Apple Watch owners to stream their music without the need for an iPhone nearby. Pandora claims that the feature will be compatible with all Apple Watch models on the market, one of which includes Apple Watch Series 1. In reality, the Cupertino firm officially discontinued Series 1, but it will get the update this year.
Pandora also stated that the songs you select for offline listening will be automatically downloaded when your device gets back online or are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This comes in handy as it helps you avoid being charged thousands of dollars to your wireless bill. Offline playback feature will be available to all Pandora’s Premium users. Basic users need to pay some cash to access the feature. Pandora Premium now costs $9.99 USD/month, allowing you to access millions of songs and more features.
The Pandora app for Apple Watch also gets some visual changes and improvements after the update. From now on, users can control their music playback directly from their wrist. This eliminates the need for an iPhone. Keep in mind that the feature only supports the latest version of Pandora and watchOS 5. Therefore, we recommend you update your device to get the update. Sources say that Apple has been working on a new Apple Watch with tons of new things and a redesign.
