The next generation iPhone is not the only thing we are expecting to see from Apple this year. Cupertino-based company is believed to launch three new iPad models this year including a refresh of the current iPad Pro 12.9 inch, a new bezel-free 10.5 inch iPad Pro and an unspecified 9.7 inch iPad Pro.
According to the latest reports, Apple will be launching a new 9.7 inch iPad Pro before the end of this month. Reports also say that the new 9.7 inch iPad Pro will be powered by Apple’s A10X processor, which runs counter to previous reports which claimed that the 9.7 inch iPad will be fueled by an A9 chip. Besides, the new tablet will likely be called iPad Pro 2 and it will replace the current iPad Air 2 in the market.
Tech experts say that Apple might lower the regular price of its current iPad Pro when it launches a new 9.7 inch iPad Pro 2 this year. Sources claim that the iPad Pro 2 will come with some key changes and updates that bring it in line with the current iPad Pro models.
Apple has not sent out invitations to its press release, but sources say that we are expecting to receive invitations before the week’s out. With many contradictory rumors, it is difficult to determine when Apple will be launching its new iPads. Earlier this week, a report said that Apple might launch a new 10.5 inch iPad Pro with bezel-free design at an event in April. Many found this report to be somewhat plausible, as the brand new Apple Park will open next month.
The new 10.5 inch iPad Pro is rumored to feature dimensions similar to the current 9.7 inch model. Besides, the new tablet will be powered by Apple’s A10X chip, just like the upcoming 9.7 inch iPad.
Rumors are just rumors, but keep in mind that we are now so close to the unveiling of new iPads, so let’s wait and see.
