Apple releases iOS 12.1.2 update to address eSim activation issue

The 2018 iPhone lineup has been around for three months and we have heard some of the issues users are facing with their new iPhones. In reality, Apple has been busy fixing iPhone problems since release in an attempt to improve the user experience. However, it seems that some of the iPhone problems still persist, which may ruin your days. According to reports, a lot of iPhone owners are dealing with an issue that prevents them from activating the eSim inside their new models. In reality, dual-sim support is one of the highlights of this year’s iPhones, meaning that you have two lines on your iPhone. This is pretty useful as you can use two phone numbers at the same time, one for personal use, another for business.

However, a serious issue is now preventing iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR users from enabling eSim. Fortunately, Apple is addressing the issue by announcing a new iOS 12.1.2 update to all compatible devices. The update brings with it a number of new things while improving the overall performance.  The update includes fixes for bugs and errors found in previous versions. Reports say that users now can use two sim cards inside their 2018 iPhone models without any flaws. Apple’s move was widely welcomed by tech experts worldwide. Besides, the update includes the fix for an issue that prevents users from connecting to their wireless networks.
Last week, iPhone owners reported that they could not connect their iPhones to cellular connectivity. The problem emerged in several countries and it has been fixed in the latest update. Apple recommends users update their iPhone to get iOS 12.1.2. The update weighs in at 418.5MB and is rolling out to all compatible devices. iOS 12 was first unveiled at Apple WWDC event and received mostly positive reviews. Users can get the update over the air (OTA) and get a better performance.
Rumors regarding 2019 iPhones have been circulating around for months. Rumors claim that the new iPhones will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and OLED displays. In reality, Apple first integrated OLED panels into its iPhones last year. This year, Apple continued to use OLED panels on the XS and XS Max, but the XR sticks with LCD panels.
